September 5th

This week we are beginning to learn the Creation story. Our focus for Jesus Time will be days 1 and 2. God has made an amazing creation for us, the next several weeks we will be exploring His creation 2 days at a time.

The new month brings a new focus. This month we will focus on learning the number 2, the color red and the octagon shape and the letter C.

Here are a few of the fun things will we be doing this week:

*Painting to show how God separated darkness from light

*Painting blue water and putting clouds in the sky

*Practicing Humpty Dumpty with the puppets we made last week

*Coloring a C for Cat 

*Making Car tracks

*Finding red items in our room

*Placing 2 stickers on the #2

*Tearing/cutting red paper

*Glueing red scraps onto an apple for our tree

Reminder: If you have not sent in your child's owl (with picture) please do so. We will be taking down our owls from the tree soon to make room for apples. Our owls will be made into a book that our students will take turns taking home to share with their families.
