This week's Bible story is a recap of the days of God's Creation.  This week we are illustrating a coloring book to take home and share with our families.

Our letter of the week is the letter F.  We are creating feathery flowers for our ABC art book, coloring flowers, frogs and fish as well as finding items in our room that begin with the letter F.

Here are a few of the fun activities we will be doing this week:

*Painting with red

*Using our binoculars to look at God's creation(repeat: there are so many things to see;)

*Matching f-f-fish

*Finding frogs in our rice table

*Creation coloring book

*Using markers on our letter paper

*Cutting paper strips (repeat: love to cut!)

*Gluing cut paper onto an octagon (repeat)

In PDO we may repeat activities for a couple of weeks before we more  on to something new.  We do this for a couple of reasons. First, we enjoy the activity. Secondly, the class asks to go it again. And finally, children learn by repetition.   Here in PDO we introduce new skills then practice, practice, practice. Whether we are learning to sit in a chair at the table, learning how to hold a marker or scissors, even potty training. We practice.

Reminders: Book orders are due this Friday, September 27th.

With the cooler weather coming please remember to send a light jacket to school.
