Welcome Back!

After a crazy week and a half out of our regular routine it is nice to return to our classroom this week.  Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during the clean up in the Sonshine building.

This week's bible story follows Jesus on His travels to the temple when He was a young boy. 

Other activities planned for this week include:

*Using watercolors to paint a star

*stamping stars 

*learning about the letter O

*coloring O pictures

*decorating a owl for letter O

*Working with small, medium and large stars

*coloring Jesus in the temple

*Placing stars on the #6

*patterning in the magnet board

*Matching mittens

*Making snowmen

January take home projects will be coming home this week. Please return them to school next week.

  Book orders will also be coming home this week.  Book orders are due this Sunday, January 26th. By placing the order on Sunday the books should ship by mid week. You may order from the January and February book orders.

Monday: P.J. Day 

• Wear pajamas/sweats 

• May bring one stuffed animal/pillow 

• May wear slippers (bring change of shoes for outside) 

Tuesday: Crazy Clash Day 

• Mix it up with mismatched clothes 

Wednesday: Disciples of the Future (Career day!) 

• What do you want to be when you grow up? 

• Jeans options 

Thursday: Spirit Day 

• Show your Zion spirit – Red, White, and Black 

• Jeans optional 

Friday: Favorite Sports Team Day 

• Wear your favorite sports team apparel 

• Jeans optional 

 **Students either chose to participate, or wear regular dress code.
