Room B
October 1st

"Ms. Derrington, the board are all different!"
This was the statement heard yesterday morning as children were arriving for school.  We love to "do our boards". Each month we change our boards (color, number, shape). This month our color is orange, number is 2 and shape is a circle. And of course weather bear remains the same until we dress him for the day.

Our Bible story this month will be the story of Noah, God's helper.
We will learn how Noah listened to God and did what He asked. We will learn that God is always with us and keeps us safe, just as He kept Noah safe. We will learn the symbol of God's promise to never flood the Earth again (the rainbow).

Here are a few of the activities for this week:
*Painting orange pictures
*Counting to 3 when getting drinks
*Tracing Noah's Ark and stamping animals
*Stamping circles
*Letter G activities: coloring pages, creating with glitter glue
* gluing 3 goldfish
*Growing a pumpkin patch
*Painting water color leaves for our tree
*Sorting bear games
*Matching animals 2 x 2

Check out the fun we  had today.
