These activities help the student with developing large and small motor skill, literary and math skills appreciation of  art, thinking skills, social interaction with peers and teachers, observation skills and prescience skills.

During Jesus Time we will continue learning the story of Noah:
God helps us do BIG things.
God is always with us.
He keeps us safe.
He keeps His promises.

Today we had an official Fire Drill complete firemen. It's possible that another drill could take place. All classes have had several practices. The students have been doing a great job. We are also discussing stop drop and roll.

The brown paper plate your child painted and brought home is the start of the October Take Home project. It is a wreath. Enjoy walking around your community finding fall items(leaves, acorns, etc) to glue on this wreath. Then hang it in your home to enjoy.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Landon

REMINDERS:

Dress for the weather and make sure ALL outwear is labeled with your child's name. We go out almost every day.

Please make sure your child is healthy before sending him/her to school. The illnesses and pink eye have started. It is better for them to be at home when sick. Please follow Zion's health advisory on this matter.

When packing your child's snack/lunch please make sure it is something they will eat and can eat on their own with little assistance.

DATES TO REMEMBER:
10-11 Trunk or Treat
10-12 Fall Harvest Party
10-18 No school
10-19 Bobcat Shuffle
