August 15th

Welcome Back to School. 

The first day brings lots of excitement and joy as well as a few fears and tears.  The tears were few and the smiles won out,  it was a great day to be a bobcat at Zion!!  This week we will be learning all about how things work in PDO and getting to know our teachers and friends.  We are learning our songs and prayers, when to sit at the tables or the reading rug, where to line up and how to wash our hands, so many new things to learn. 

Here are a few activities we will be doing this week:

* painting

*playing with playdoh

*coloring Jesus loves me pictures

*putting stickers on our names

*playing outside with cars/bikes and in the rock pit (tons of fun/and a little dirty ;o)

*matching colored blocks

*building with duplo blocks

*reading books

*playing with friends
