For the week beginning 8-19-13, your child has the opportunity to participate in the following activities:

tasting a BLUEberry and a SQUARE saltine cracker

 finding blue and square objects in the classroom

creating the 1st page of their alphabet book letter; A for apple

large motor skills such as crawling, rolling, jumping over an object and playing with a blue balloon

Jesus time children will make a puppet of themselves

science will center around a discussion of water and rain along with water/rain activities and song

In your child's folder you will find a note regarding a Bible study for women. This is an excellent study! I know you will enjoy it. Please invite your friends too, as this is for women of all faiths.

Thanks to all families for placing snacks, drinks, diapers and folders in the tubs. We appreciate it.

Wednesday is a very busy day. We have younger children and for many this is their first "school" experience. Also many children only attend 1 day per week. It will take a few weeks for the children to settle in. Please know that the crying will subside soon. This is normal and each child will adjust in the days to come
