Jesus and Zacchaeus
19 He entered Jericho and was passing through. 2 And behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector and was rich. 3 And he was seeking to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was small in stature. 4 So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was about to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.” 6 So he hurried and came down and received him joyfully. 7 And when they saw it, they all grumbled, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” 8 And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.” 9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the

This is a fun and meaningful Bible story for the children to take part in. They love to act out the story and sing the Zacchaeus song.
Zacchaeus Was A Wee Little Man
Zacchaeus was a wee little man. A wee little man was he.
He climbed up in the sycamore tree, the Savior for to see.
He climbed up in the sycamore tree, the Savior for to see.
And when the Savior passed that way, he looked up in the tree,
And he said, “Zacchaeus, you come down from there;
For I’m going to your house today, for I’m going to your house today.
Key Verse:
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." Luke 19:10
Zacchaeus was sorry for what he had done and confessed his sin, Jesus forgave him and said, "Today salvation has come to this house." Zacchaeus was a little man with a big problem, SIN! But he met Jesus and his life was changed. It doesn't matter if you are short or tall, when you meet Jesus, he will change your life too.
There was a request to include words to the songs we sing. I will attempt to do this when time permits.
Tune of "Jesus Loves Me"

Next, came Philip, Thomas too,

Reminders:
Please help us by pulling your child's folder, diapers, snacks and drinks.
Please continue to save Box Tops for Education.
If your child is potty trained or in training please send them in clothes
that are easy to pull on and off. We help them but part of the training is
for them to learn to do it themselves. Loose fitting elastic waistbands work best.
